Every other year, the crime fiction festival ›Murder on Hellweg‹ invites top-notch authors of crime to think of new murders exclusively for a short story collection. There’s a special note this year, since ›we‹ are the European Capital of Culture. The international Who’s Who of suspense accepted the invitation and visited places such as Fröndenberg, Bönen, Lüdenscheid, Bochum, Gelsenkirchen, as well as Essen, and criminally set them a monument.
From 17 countries, these authors have made their way: Petros Markaris, Taavi Soininvaara, Jussi Adler-Olsen, Esmahan Aykol, Gabriella Wollenhaupt, Bernhard Jaumann, Helene Tursten, Jac. Toes & Thomas Hoeps, Andrej Kurkow, Domingo Villar, and Louise Welsh.
From September 18 through November 13, 200 national and international crime fiction pros will meet up for Europe’s biggest crime fiction festival ›Murder on Hellweg – Crime Scene Ruhr‹.
