Sunil Mann was born to Indian immigrants in the Bernese Oberland. After his school leaving examinations he studied psychology and German literature in Zurich. At present he works as a flight attendant, a job which leaves him enough time to write. He has already won numerous prizes for his short stories. Coup de grace is his debut as a novelist.
